Audax's Grad Photos

Woke up this morning around 8am to get ready and meet up with Junior. He's graduating with a 6.0 GPA with a emphasis on mathematics. A couple of highlights from our shoot was the fact that we got to expose his passion and love for math by going to a classroom and creating a equation that'll represent him as a individual and his mastery in mathematics. It was a fun shoot and he said this was his first photo shoot. Overall his newbie skills prevailed and these photos came out great. Although CSUEB will be losing a great student the workforce will benefit from Junior's personality and hard work ethics. Congratulations Junior and best wishes to you and your endeavors. 

2014 March to End Poverty

Please join us on Saturday, May 17,2014 for the 9th Annual March to End Poverty at Oakland’s Lake Merritt bandstand area across from the Garden Center at 666 Bellevue Ave. This event is FREE to the public and the first 400 Marchers who bring a non-perishable food item (no glass containers) to donate to the Alameda County Community Food Bank will receive a free t-shirt.

9:00am:   Registration at Lake Merritt Bandstand (666 Bellevue Ave. behind Fairyland) 

10:00am: March & Rally begins                                                                       

11:00am: Community Fair -- Live Music, Children's Activities, Free Boating

Over the weekend I was contracted by alameda county to shoot a event at Lake Merrit.  Here are some photographs of mayor Jean Quan, congress woman Barbara Lee, and some of the crowd that was there. I'm also going to create a short highlight clip of the event so stay tuned for that. I brought along my friend David to help me out and gain more experience behind the camera. Later after that event I came home to dump the footage then went to dinner with Joycelyn, Brandon, and Devanae at a thai joint in downtown called Cambers. To conclude the day we went to watch godzilla. As a quick round up i'd give that movie a 6.5/10. The storyline was okay, I wanted to know more about godzilla though.

Breezy Bear!

Today I woke up around 5am to go to east bay to get some aerial footage with my new phantom 2! After getting the footage I met up with Jonard to have breakfast at Einstein's. He bought me a hand thing that helps with stress from using the mouse to much. Thanks Jo for the sandwich and for helping me out today! Afterwards it was around 9-10 and Bre made her way up to east bay to take her grad photos. I was honored when soccer star/ pokemon master asked me in class to take her grad photos. This session was fun because she brought props that were meaningful to her life and education.
